ar X iv : h ep - e x / 07 02 05 0 v 1 2 8 Fe b 20 07 Searches for Magnetic Monopoles , Nuclearites and Q - balls

The searches for classical Dirac Magnetic Monopoles (MMs) at accelerators, for GUT superheavy MMs in the penetrating cosmic radiation and for Intermediate Mass MMs at high altitudes are discussed. Also the searches for nuclearites and Q-balls are considered.

We study spherically and axially symmetric monopoles of the SU(2) EinsteinYang-Mills-Higgs-dilaton (EYMHD) system with a new coupling between the dilaton field and the covariant derivative of the Higgs field. We study chiral symmetries of fermionic non commutative dipole theories. By using Fujikawa's approach we obtain explicit expressions of the anomalies for Dirac and chiral fermions in 2 and 4 dimensions.
